💬 Sienna’s What-to-Ask-Your-Stylist Script: When I'm creating this braid, I like to start by taking a small section of hair from the crown and dividing it into two equal parts. Then, I gently cross one strand over the other, picking up a small amount of hair as I go. This creates a relaxed, effortless look that's perfect for any occasion.

1. Why This Salon Cut & Color Formula Works

One of my favorite ways to style a braid is to create a Dutch fishtail. I love how it reminds me of Rapunzel’s iconic locks!

To start, I’ll take a small section of hair from the crown and divide it into two equal parts.

Then, I’ll gently cross one strand over the other, picking up a small amount of hair as I go.

This creates a relaxed, effortless look that’s perfect for any occasion.

What I love about this braid is that it’s easy to customize to your face shape and hair texture.

For example, if you have a heart-shaped face, you can create more volume on top by gently teasing the roots.

And if you have fine hair, you can use a light-hold hairspray to keep everything in place.

✂️ Sienna’s Chair Notes (Part 1 of 4)

  • Lived-In Dimension: Designed to grow out softly without harsh root lines or daily flat-ironing.
  • Movement-First Architecture: Point-cut internal layers that flatter your natural texture.
