Preserving Your Cut Structure & Mirror Shine
One of the most important things to remember when it comes to braided hairstyles is to take care of your hair while you’re wearing the braids.
This means avoiding harsh chemicals, excessive heat styling, and rough handling of your hair.
Instead, opt for gentle, sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners, and use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush to gently detangle your hair while it’s in braids.
Another important thing to remember is to get regular trims to prevent split ends and breakage.
I recommend getting a trim every 6-8 weeks, or as needed.
And, if you’re looking to preserve the color and gloss of your braids, I recommend using a color-depositing mask once or twice a week.
This will help to keep your hair looking healthy, shiny, and vibrant for longer.
