💬 Sienna’s What-to-Ask-Your-Stylist Script: To enhance the angularity of a fat face, I recommend asking your stylist to create internal layers that start at the jawline and extend to the shoulders. This will create a slimming effect and draw attention away from the fullness of the face.

1. Why This Salon Cut & Color Formula Works

One of my favorite medium length haircuts for a fat face is the ‘Internal Layers’ look.

I recall a client coming in with a round face shape and a desire to look more angular.

I worked with her to create a haircut that would create a slimming effect and make her face appear more angular.

We started by cutting the hair in internal layers that began at the jawline and extended to the shoulders.

This created a length that skimmed over the fullness of the face, drawing attention away from the cheeks and creating a more defined jawline.

The result was nothing short of stunning. My client’s face appeared slimmer and more angular, and she loved the way the hair framed her features.

This haircut is a great option for anyone with a round or oval face shape who wants to create a more angular look.
