1. Why This Salon Cut & Color Formula Works
One of my favorite memories is when a curly-haired client came into the salon with a picture of a loose, effortless braid from a magazine.
She wanted to achieve the same look, but was unsure of how to do it herself.
I took her through a step-by-step guide on how to braid her hair, starting with prepping her curls with a hydrating mask and a leave-in conditioner.
Once her hair was prepped, I showed her how to section her hair into three parts and begin a regular braid, but then gently pull out some of the hair to loosen the braid and create a more effortless look.
The result was stunning – she had a beautiful, relaxed braid that looked like it was done by a professional.
And the best part? She was able to achieve this look on her own at home, which made her feel confident and empowered.
