Every head of hair has its own density, cowlicks, and wave pattern—here is how I adjust the proportions behind the chair.

Matching Layers & Tones to Your Features
When it comes to face shape, the key is to balance the features.
For oval and heart-shaped faces, a soft, layered cut can help create a more angular look.
For square faces, a softer, more rounded cut can help soften the features.
And for round faces, a cut with a bit more length in the back can help elongate the face.
As for hair texture, the point-cut technique works best on fine to medium textures.
For coarser textures, a more subtle layering technique may be necessary to avoid adding too much bulk.
Additionally, for fine textures, a light-hold hairspray can help add hold without weighing the hair down.
✂️ Face-Shape & Density Quick Match
- Fine-to-Medium Strands: Keep perimeter weight blunt and add micro-ribbons around the face for visual fullness.
- Thick or Wavy Hair: Use internal slide-cutting to release weight so waves stack without triangle bulk.
- Warm vs. Cool Skin Undertones: Pair golden-olive skin with honey, caramel, or espresso glosses; pair cool undertones with champagne, ash, or mocha ribbons.
