1. Why This Salon Cut & Color Formula Works

I recall a client who came in with a picture of a fanfic character’s hairstyle.

She wanted to recreate the look.

But it was a bit of a challenge due to her oval-shaped face and fine hair.

I told her that the key to pulling off this look was to focus on adding dimension and texture through balayage.

I used a root-smudged honey balayage technique to create a subtle, multi-dimensional look that complemented her features.

✂️ Sienna’s Chair Notes (Part 1 of 4)

  • Lived-In Dimension: Designed to grow out softly without harsh root lines or daily flat-ironing.
  • Movement-First Architecture: Point-cut internal layers that flatter your natural texture.
  • Pinterest Reference: Tap Pin Hairstyle to save this reference photo for your stylist.

Continue to Page 2 below where I break down how to tailor the layer angles, color tone, and parting for your exact face shape and hair density.
