💬 Sienna’s What-to-Ask-Your-Stylist Script: When creating a balayage effect, I always recommend starting with a light hand and building up the color gradually to achieve a natural-looking result. To enhance the effect, I suggest using a glossing product to add shine and dimension to the hair.

1. Why This Salon Cut & Color Formula Works

I remember working with Tonya on her wedding day.

She had a very specific idea in mind for her hairstyle, and I was excited to bring it to life.

We started with a consultation, where I assessed her face shape and hair texture to determine the best cut and color for her.

I decided to create a balayage effect that would add warmth and depth to her locks, and she loved it!

The balayage effect was achieved by painting the color onto the hair in a sweeping motion, starting at the roots and working my way down to the ends.

I used a light hand to build up the color gradually, making sure to blend the edges seamlessly.

The result was a beautiful, sun-kissed look that complemented Tonya’s skin tone perfectly.

✂️ Sienna’s Chair Notes (Part 1 of 4)

  • Lived-In Dimension: Designed to grow out softly without harsh root lines or daily flat-ironing.
  • Movement-First Architecture: Point-cut internal layers that flatter your natural texture.

Continue to Page 2 below where I break down how to tailor the layer angles, color tone, and parting for your exact face shape and hair density.
