1. Why This Salon Cut & Color Formula Works
One of my favorite clients, Shoptobi, came to me looking for a bold new look.
She had always been a fan of bright, vibrant colors, so I knew I had to bring my A-game.
I started by applying a root-smudged honey balayage to her hair, using a combination of 9V and 9G gloss to give it a sun-kissed, multi-dimensional look.
The result was truly stunning – and I couldn’t wait to share it with the world!
But what really sets this look apart is the way the balayage color formula interacts with Shoptobi’s face shape and hair texture.
As an oval-shaped face with fine-to-thick hair, she was the perfect candidate for this style.
The point-cut internal layers and cheekbone framing really make the most of her features, and the 10-minute round-brush blowout and 8-week toner keep the look fresh and vibrant for weeks to come.
